kicked off train for writing list

A musician was stunned off a train - for writing down a playlist of songs and band names.
Bass player Tom Shaw had written down some tracks and the band name "Killers" when he was asked to leave the
carriage by rail security officers. Mr Shaw, 25, was told that he had been writing down was "suspicious". On the
platform of Fareham station, Hampshire, he showed the officers his list, including the Oasis track Cigarretes and
Alcohol, and the Ting Tings´ Shut Up and Let me Go. They duly let Him go. "We had a gig coming up so I was writing
what we could play," said Mr. Shaw, from Portsmouth.
"They made me explain everything I had written song by song. I couldn´t understand it." The officers, employed by
South West Trains,said he´d been removed because there had been several arrests nearby. South West trains thanked
Mr. Shaw for is co- operation.
